The Hitachi Scholarship Foundation of Japan invited applications from interested teaching staff or researchers for studies or research in the following three programs at universities or institutions in Japan in 2015:
1. Hitachi Scholarship Program
2. Hitachi Research Fellowship Program
3. Komai Fellowship Program

Applications were to be submitted via the departments/offices to which the applicants were affiliated so that the departments/offices could nominate them to the Div. of Foreign Affairs (DIA), Presidential Office, no later than October 15, 2014.
